Très bonne semaine pour la 911 GT3.R LMGT3 n°92 de R. HARDWICK / R. PERA / R. LIETZ. Assez anonyme lors de la journée test, la belle bleue à réussi à se placer au 5eme rang du LMGT3 sur la grille et a laissé ses concurrents faire le show des deux premières heures. Remontée du 11 eme rang elle ne quittera plus le podium dès sept heures du soir, se battant avec la BMW n°4, la Ferrari n°21 et la Lexus n°87. Sa première prise de commandement se fait vers 1H du matin. Quand la BMW se retire, la voiture du Manthey Racing 1st phorm bataille encore jusqu'à 7 heures du matin avant de prendre le contrôle du LMGT3, malgré un Drive Through pour non respect de drapeau jaune. Avec une course quasi parfaite et aucun souci mécanique, la n°92 l'emporte avec 33 secondes d'avance sur la Ferrari 296 n°21 au terme d'une belle bagarre.
