Premiers en 2023, seconds en 2024, les membres de l'Inter Europol Competition sont de retour en 2025 avec de légitimes ambitions. Dès les qualifs, en prenant la seconde place sur la grille (mais avec le meilleur temps absolu en LMP2) Dillmann, Smiechowski et Yelloly montrent qu'ils ne sont pas là pour enfiler des perles. En course ils seront toujours aux avants postes, sans pour autant pouvoir se ménager de marge de sécurité, tant les n°29, 199, 16, 9 et 48 se montreront combattives. Malgré un changement de capot avant dans la nuit, la n°43 est encore au commandement du LMP2 le dimanche en début d'après midi, tallonée par la n°48. A 15H15, l'Oreca jaune et verte écope d'un Drive Through pour vitesse excessive dans les stands, et perd sa première place, la victoire semble s'envoler au profit de la n°48. Mais moins de 30 minutes plus tard, la roue de la fortune change de sens, la suspension de la n°48 casse et Dillmann, Smiechowski, Yelloly auront la ressource pour remonter l'écart et finalement s'imposer dans les dernières minutes.
First in 2023, second in 2024, the members of the Inter Europol Competition are back in 2025 with legitimate ambitions. From the qualifying, by taking second place on the grid (but with the absolute best time in LMP2), Dillmann, Smistuff and Yelloly show that they are not there to give up. In the race, they will always be in the leading pack, without however being able to provide a safety margin, as the n°29, 199, 16, 9 and 48 will prove being strong competitors. Despite a change of the front cowling during the night, n°43 is still leading the LMP2 on Sunday at the beginning of the afternoon, closely followed by number 48. At 3:15 PM, the yellow and green Oreca suffered a Drive-Through for excessive speed in the pits, and lost its first place, victory seems to fly away in favor of the n° 48. But less than 30 minutes later, the wheel of fortune changes direction, the suspension of the n°48 broke and Dillmann, Smisika, Yelloly will have the ressources to climb up the gap and finally impose themselves in the final minutes.
